I love wrapping up the week here at Pattern Observer with a focus on artists and illustrators. They take me into the weekend with a love and appreciation of all the AMAZING talent that is out there and today I am delighted to share with you the work of Alice Potter! She is a London based illustrator who has a passion for British wildlife and birds. Isn’t her style wonderful? She has a wonderful Etsy shop with very affordable prints, bags, cards, and tees and a pretty cool blog to boot. What I am really excited about, and what I will be ordering as soon as I get my new phone, is that you can have her designs printed on iphone cases & skins. How cool is that?? I want to take that little rabbit with me everywhere that I go!
I hope that everyone has a great weekend! It is going to be 80 degrees in Portland this weekend and I am looking forward to our first real weekend of sunshine and warmth. Enjoy!!

Her designs are so clean and refreshing. Adding texture to some of her animals is very clever.
