Happy New Year!!!!! What an exciting time of year! Thanks to all who shared their design goals for 2012. I loved reading each and every one and I hope Pattern Observer can do its part to help make 2012 a success.

I am thrilled to kick off the year with a few amazing shots from the textile design studio, Wippowillow, which was started by Kate Troyer in 2011. Wippowillow is based out of Portland, Oregon and is dedicated to “hand drawn and hand screen printed contemporary design accessories.” These beautiful lampshades, pillows and fabrics can all be purchased from the studio’s website. It is wonderful seeing a designer that is so passionate about the entire design process, from sketch to production and finally the final product. I love it! Check out more of Wippowillow’s work here.
