I love everything about this rug from Anthropologie. The design is loose, but sophisticated, and the colors are fun and upbeat, without being obnoxious. This color palette(navy could be used instead of black) seems perfect for the home or children’s marketplaces…

Yellena is a Portland, OR based artist/illustrator. Lovely, yes? You can check out more of her work here.
Everywhere you turn you are bound to see an animal skin print..the trend has inundated every market possible, from apparel to interiors. But time after time Roberto Cavalli does animal prints in a way that has never been done. In his Spring collection he showed classic snake and croc skins executed in wonderfully soft and feminine muted tones…and amazing skin prints that combined ideas..feathers alongside snakeskin. These prints are amazing and gave the collection a dreamlike quality…an uber feminine, kick-ass rockstar dream..

The L.A.M.B. Spring collection is really inspiring. I can’t wait to create a collection of African inspired prints in my own way…a little simplified and in updated color stories? Another aspect of this trend is print mixing/clashing(?), which you can see in this amazing armchair by Henry Road.
