Joy & Patterned Filled Homes From Megan Kelso

Megan Kelso creates hand-painted artwork for interior textiles and wallpaper in the high desert of Oregon. In college, Megan majored in Art and Art History with a focus on Printmaking. After several years working for marketing agencies and doing freelance graphic design, she decided to focus on creating patterns for home interiors. She launched her first fabric and textile line about a year ago and has thoroughly enjoyed the entire process. Check out her shop here! All of her designs start as gouache paintings, and then she sustainably prints them on fabric and wallpaper in the United States using a digital pigment printer. She loves seeing her designs come to life to create warm, inviting, joy-filled spaces for her customers.

For inspiration and to unwind, Megan enjoys walking at the river trail near her house in Central Oregon, especially in late spring when there are many delicate wildflowers. She also loves to collect vintage children’s books and pore over the delicate and ethereal illustrations. Megan loves to admire vintage folk textiles and has a large library of books about folk textiles, paintings, furniture, and quilts that she pulls from for new ideas. She has collaborated with clients like Dartmouth College, Pottery Barn, and Minted, and would love to work with you, contact Megan here.
