Happy Wednesday! Today it is our pleasure to share with you the wonderfully eclectic work of illustrator and surface designer Cristina Bartl Villa. Born in 1987 in Barcelona, Cristina was raised in Germany and Spain, and is currently based in NYC. She earned a BA in fashion design and fell in love with textiles and the world of print design while in college. Cristina loves to sketch and paint by hand “to give the prints a very personal approach.”
Cristina runs her own surface design studio, The Bartl Studio, developing prints and graphics for interior design, fashion and stationery.
