Courtney Graben’s passion for design started off as a young girl loving arts and crafts. Growing up near Palm Beach, Florida her earliest textile inspiration was the maximal designer Lily Pulitzer. Now Courtney is rolling along in her career as a surface designer, illustrator, and a member of the Textile Design Lab. Her illustrations and patterns have been in national retailers such T.J. Maxx and Bealls and she was represented at Printsource this January. Her favorite type of patterns to draw are conversational prints and sophisticated florals.

Courtney was offered the opportunity to intern in Sydney, Australia for Karolina York Studio in 2023, which was a dream opportunity! Now she works in New York City and is interested in finding new collaborations and opportunities. She has experience with Adobe Creative Suite + Ned Graphics and specializes in creating repeats, following design briefs or trends, editing existing artwork, and creating original hand drawn motifs. Check out her portfolio and contact on her website and You can follow her work on her instagram.
