Designer Feature: Pat Scheurich

After 30 successful years as a commercial artist, graphic designer, and mural painter working in traditional mediums, Pat Scheruich has been learning how to incorporate digital painting into her artistic practice. Pat has been mastering Procreate, Illustrator, and Photoshop to add new work to her robust portfolio of plant and animal-based art and patterns. Pat has had the opportunity to license her paintings for needlepoint designs and has authored and illustrated two books. My Animal Alphabet and Cooking The Alphabet.

Pat splits her time between Denver and Seattle and when she is not painting at her home studio, she enjoys cross-country skiing, kayaking, hiking, cooking, and participating in a book club. She received a BFA from  Northern Arizona University and has continued her learning journey with numerous online courses and memberships. You can find her latest work and adventures on her Instagram. Here are two recent collections of original patterns and placement prints, “The Octopus Garden” and “Marlin’s Jungle.”
