Stephanie Fiona Holdsworth is a Vancouver-based textile designer specializing in print design for baby textiles and home décor. With a background in both design and education, her work is grounded in a strong understanding of creative processes, material exploration, and visual storytelling.
Her interest in textiles began in high school. It was further developed through university studies in textiles and spatial design, where she explored the intersection of artistic expression, design thinking, and textile science. Coming from a family of both creatives and scientists, Stephanie approaches design with a balance of intuition and structure, drawing on research, experimentation and a deep understanding of materials.

Before focusing fully on her textile design practice, she spent several years teaching design, refining her ability to think critically, develop ideas and communicate visual concepts. Alongside this, she built a hands-on making practice, creating and selling home décor while expanding her skills across a wide range of media including ceramics, jewellery, knitting, and pattern-making.

These combined experiences continue to shape her work today. Her print collections are developed with intention, combining illustrative motifs, thoughtful colour palettes and carefully constructed repeats to create designs that feel cohesive, calming and adaptable across a range of products. She hopes her work brings a sense of calm, comfort and happiness into everyday life, across a range of products and uses.
