This week’s On the Inside is pulled from the pages of Elle Decor and features designer Sig Bergamin’s Manhattan apartment. What immediately struck me was the comforting contrast included throughout the space. Mr. Bergamin used a slew of intricate, ethnically influenced patterns (note the curtains, pillows, screen, chair, and ottoman) alongside clean, bold patterns (the rug, lamp, and wallpaper). The space seems jam packed with wonderful treasures that tell a tale of escape, fond memories, and endless possibilities.
