Happy Friday!!! I am so excited to wrap up this chilly week with the beautiful and heart warming work of today’s featured designer, Tamar Dovrat. Tamar lives and works in Tel-Aviv and recently graduated from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, where she majored in Illustration.

“My graduation project had 3 themes (Africa / Tel-Aviv / Forest), each having 4 types of wrapping paper and a Wrap pack containing everything you need to have while wrapping a present for someone you love – paper, card, envelope and matching stickers. In each collection I researched the different types of patterns, color scheme, and how illustrated images and patterns work together as a complete series.

“I’ve always been passionate about pattern and I seek it everywhere I go.”

In addition to freelancing, Tamar creates paper goods and prints, and plans to launch a collection of pillows, bags, tea towels and scarves later this year. I encourage you to visit Tamar’s website and check out more of her patterns and illustrations. It is a visual treat!
