Ali Benyon’s products are so cheery and really evoke a springtime feeling with her colorful mix of flowers and butterflies. (Just the boost I need when I look out my window and still see a few rogue snowflakes!)
Ali studied Textile Design at Loughborough University in the U.K, graduating with a Multi Media textiles Degree. She writes, “That was many moons ago, but my love and passion for design, pattern and colour continues to grow and grow! Using strong shapes and unique mark making techniques, my designs are contemporary, fresh and vibrant. I love to create designs that are bold, yet delicate. Busy, yet fresh and simplistic.”
“Originally from the U.K, I now live and work from my studio on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, Australia. Here I create surface pattern designs for licensing purposes worldwide.
I also have my very own collection of branded products which I sell through my online shop. Here you can find cushions, purses, fabric covered mirrors, toiletry bags, candles, T Towels and paper products. All designed by myself and proudly made right here in Melbourne.
A passionate writer, I am also author of the book Stitched Paper Art by C&T Publishing, written under my first business name – Cheeky Pickle. I’ve also recently written my first e book too, “From Little Things”. A book packed with advice and tips for designers on how to run a successful creative business.”
