Welcome to the first edition of “Inside The Studio”. This is a new series that gives you a peek into what we are working on in the Pattern Observer Studio and will hopefully offer inspiration and guidance as you develop your own collections.
This week we’ve been working on developing Fragmented Geometrics. This is a trend that we’ve seen for the past few seasons but there are several ways that it can be updated for Fall ’16 and Spring ’17. Fragmented Geometrics can be updated through scale, use of Photographic effects and used in combination with other motives and textures.
We share some of the design techniques used to create our Fragmented Geometric collection inside our membership site, the Textile Design Lab and we have compiled a Pinterest board filled with Fragmented Geometric inspiration for you to check out.
