Alessandra Olisia Medeiros is the founder of Olisia Design Studio. Alessandra completed a Technology Degree in Fashion Design from IFSC and an Associate Degree in Fashion Business Management and Marketing from SENAC in Brazil. She specializes in developing original prints as a surface designer and has over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry.
Alessandra has a passion for exploring the diverse techniques within fashion and surface design, such as screen printing, rotary printing, scarves, hotfix embellishments, embroidery, and the many creative possibilities in textile development. With denim, for example, she enjoys experimenting with laser techniques to reveal hidden patterns. Some pieces in this collection were created for women’s fashion brands in Brazil and for international platforms like Patternbank. While most of the art is produced digitally, she often begins with hand sketches on Procreate and refines them in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. She loves blending traditional artistry with modern digital tools to create patterns for fashion collections, and this selection reflects the breadth of possibilities she offers through her studio. Alessandra believes authenticity is the key to creating work that stands out and resonates deeply with people.
