We’re excited to announce the Textile Design Lab’s early 2026 schedule, which is dedicated to growth, connection, and creative achievement. This year, we’re launching a brand-new Business Foundations Workshop and continuing our proven tracks in specialization, style, promotion, and portfolio polish. Plus, you can now join as a Creative Studio member and graduate to Pattern Profit Academy when you’re ready!

January–February: Business Foundations Workshop

Building Your Creative Business Blueprint (available to Creative Studio and Pattern Profit levels)

Kicking off January 12th inside the Textile Design Lab, this seven-week workshop is designed to help you clarify your vision, explore all the ways to sell your artwork, and build a business that truly supports your personal and professional goals. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refocus your creative path, this workshop offers:

  • Weekly lessons on business vision, print studios, licensing, freelancing, direct sales, product creation, and more
  • Practical exercises (like vision boards, design briefs, and portfolio projects) to help you apply what you learn
  • Guided worksheets and reflection prompts to build your own business blueprint
  • Support and feedback from our expert team and your fellow designers

How Membership Levels Work

Textile Design Lab offers two main membership levels to support you at every stage of your journey:

  • Creative Studio: Perfect for developing designers, this membership includes live sessions, foundation courses, community access, and archived content. Members have access to expert feedback, design challenges, and style development resources. You can start here to build your skills, confidence, and portfolio.
  • Pattern Profit Academy (PPA): When you’re ready for more advanced business growth, you can graduate to PPA. This level includes guided business tracks, live coaching, industry workshops, and enhanced opportunities for feedback and visibility. PPA is designed to support you as you specialize, market your work, and grow your business.

Progress at Your Own Pace: Members are welcome to begin their journey in Creative Studio and move up to Pattern Profit Academy whenever they feel ready for the next challenge and deeper business focus.
