Leigh Jacobs is a textile designer who left her corporate job this past winter to begin a freelance career. She studied textile design at North Carolina State University, graduating in 2008, and prior to that earned an MFA at Pratt Institute.
“I just started freelancing in January after working at Dillard’s (a retail chain) based in Little Rock, Arkansas, for 6 years. I was doing men’s brands there, and I wanted more freedom of subject matter and my schedule!”
Leigh’s vibrant, whimsical style just screams “summer,” don’t you think? It’s certainly put us in the right mood for the last day of June with a long weekend on the horizon 🙂
